The Binhu district is a big well-known tourist area in southwestern Wuxi and a county-level area with three AAAAA scenic areas, four AAAA scenic areas, and seven national agricultural tourism sites. Its most famous tourism spots are the Lingshan Wonderland with the Lingshan Buddha and Brahma Palace, CCTV Wuxi Movie/TV Base where the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and the Water Margin were shot, Yuantou Isle and its fantastic scenery, East China’s largest scenic spot at Lihu Lake, Ri-Star Hot Springs Resort, the Ferris Wheel on Water, and the old town of Rongxiang.

It holds more than 180 tourism companies, including: 17 foreign and star hotels, three of them 5-star and six, 4-star; 23 tourism agencies, one of them 5-star and two, 4-star; seven national agricultural tourism sites; and 17 rural inns, two of them 5-star. This indicates Binhu’s tourism resources and tourism possibilities.
