Binhu district in the city of Wuxi recently launched an e-government services platform for smartphones, hoping to further informationize government affairs through the Internet.

The app, Binhu Zhengwu Fabu, or Binhu Government Affairs Release, is based on the district's official web portal and integrates 235 e-government service providers such as WeChat accounts, apps, Weibo accounts and other mobile terminal applications.

It has four labels: Shouye (Home), Zhengwu Gongkai (Release), Zhengmin Hudong (Contact us), and Zhengwu Fuwu (Public service) and 14 sub-labels.

Users can follow updates on government affairs to get a better understanding of policies and can communicate with the government through a hotline – 12345 – and make online reservations and inquiries for administrative services.

The app will greatly improve the district's business environment and the government's public services.
