A virtual reality experience has been launched at Wuxi's Turtle Head Isle scenic spot, allowing visitors to feel as if they are walking in the rain without getting wet.

The cherry blossom rain zone is a darkened area covering 100 square meters with a capacity of 10 to 20 people at a time. Numerous 3-D cameras in the room monitor visitors' movements to keep the rain water and cherry blossoms away from visitors.

The zone gives visitors the feeling of standing in the rain and being surrounded by cherry blossoms in a completely dry but interactive environment.
