The last stage of the annual Tour of Taihu Lake 2015 concluded in Suzhou on Nov 10, reported the Wuxi Daily.

More than 130 cyclists from 22 professional cycling teams from the five continents gathered in East China to join the cycling gala. Jakub Mareczko, an Italian rider from Italy's Southeast Pro Cycling Team, took the crown in the professional group in seven of the total nine stages and won this year's championship.

After breaking the record for most stages won in a single tournament, the 21 year-old rider shared his joy and excitement. "It was an unbelievable experience," said Mareczko, "and I want to thank all my team members who helped me a lot to accomplish the great milestone." He could not wait to accept more challenges next year.

This year, to promote the tournament's brand, the event organizer invited Lagardère Unlimited, a branch of the multinational media conglomerate Lagardère Group, to broadcast the event live both in the country and abroad.

The broadcast team not only caught highlights of the cycling, but also displayed the beautiful scenery and cultural resources along Taihu Lake, contributing to the promotion of Wuxi and other cities along the lake.
