More than 200 people from home and abroad witnessed the inking of 59 projects, worth 23.8 billion yuan ($3.74 billion), between Binhu district in Wuxi and enterprises at the signing ceremony of the 2015 Binhu District Golden Autumn Economy and Trade Fair on Oct 28, reported the Wuxi Daily.

The fair, with the theme "Green Binhu, Innovative Binhu, Vigorous Binhu", was focused on the advanced manufacturing industry, service industry, strategic emerging industry, and cultural tourism.

The 59 projects were in the high and new technology industry, strategic emerging industry and service industry.

Wuxi mayor Wang Quan said Binhu district is the core functional area in Wuxi. It has welcomed a great number of industrial projects, relying on its comprehensive services and favorable environment.

The new projects confirm the district's industrial development and will drive Wuxi's progress, Wang added.
