Binhu district in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, hosted a photo exhibition featuring ecological environment construction of the district on Oct 15.

The event, organized by the district' association for ecological environment protection and the Taihu Cultural and Art Exchange Center, received over 1,000 photographic works from amateur and professional photographers.

The exhibition displayed nearly 80 outstanding photos, which showcased the district's beautiful scenery and achievements in ecological management. In recent years, the district has worked to optimize the industrial structure and improve the environment. Liu Jianhua, whose work was displayed at the exhibition, said he was touched by the water improvement of Taihu Lake as he recorded the development of Binhu through his camera over the past 10 years. "People should be respectful and grateful to nature," he added.
