Students seek entrepreneurial opportunities at service outsourcing competition in Wuxi

Li Yao, “research and development manager” of the team, said:“The preparation for the competition teaches us how to integrate our knowledge and apply it into our daily life through meticulous observation. We acquired knowledge in marketing, business and financial management and learned that startups are not about ‘playing house’ at all. It is a game for warriors that requires covering of all bases.”

After fierce competition, 20 works produced by teams from schools like Taipei's Tamkang University, Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications, and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics stood out from the 200 entries and won the top prize.

Teams from Tibet University, National Taiwan University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University were among the teams that won of the second-place prize.

“Winning the competition is just the beginning for our startup. The inspiration we got from other works and suggestions from experts in the competition are what we cherish most. With the honor, we will perfect our project to run stably online and realize its social value through cooperation with associated enterprises,” said Wang Shu after the award ceremony, a runner-up in the competition.
