A closing ceremony for the Huwanxinmeng Microfilm Contest was held at Huallywood, the Wuxi National Digital Film Industrial Park in Jiangsu province, on Aug 23.

Hosted by Wuxi Tourism Bureau, the publicity department of the Party committee of Binhu district and the district's federation of trade unions, the contest aimed to show off the beautiful scenery and lovely people of Wuxi through the lenses of the participants.

Since the competition was initiated in March, it has attracted much attention and gathered 150 microfilms. The judges selected 15 outstanding works after several rounds of assessment.

The microfilms Masters of the Dream Painting and I am Chengguan won the second prize, while the first prize was left vacant.

The industrial park and its enterprises provided consulting services, professional equipment and free studios to the participants, and not only offered them an exchange and learning platform, but also facilitated the recruitment of talented people and promoted the park's brand image.

With the popularization of microfilms among new media, the district will also shoot a microfilm to publicize the local government this year.
