Jiangnan University, in the city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province arranged an entrepreneurship salon for its students in its Science and Technology Pioneer Park, on Aug 19, and attracted some tutors and nearly 50 students as the first activity of its kind ever in Wuxi.

One member of the Wuxi human resources and social security bureau's entrepreneurship dept explained it by saying, "All the park enterprises are new and some of the entrepreneurs are undergrads, who are full of energy and ideas but short of management experience and marketing channels."

The salon organizers asked the heads of electronics businesses and people in the culture industry to share their experience and information with the students. And there will be more of these salons with the themes to be announced on the entrepreneurship website (wxcyfw.com), so that students can be selective in their participation.

The park head said the organizers will be asking more entrepreneurship tutors and models as well as industrial experts to come and discuss their work and ideas with students and provide suggestions on product development, enterprise management, marketing and financing.
