Binhu increasing investment and bringing business to a new level

Under the current economic globalization, the Binhu district has looked for ways to attract investment and business and, in the first half year, signed 1,643 project agreements worth 7.47 billion yuan ($1.2 billion), with 186 domestic enterprises with registered capital of over 10 million yuan and six foreign-funded projects worth 10 million dollars.
The Bureau of Commerce reports that, for the period, the district held a promotion meeting for investment, set up a trade office in Shanghai’s Free Trade Zone, and increased efforts to attract investment from the city of Shenzhen (Guangdong province), Beijing, and Fujian province. It also reached agreements with the China Oil & Foodstuffs Corp, Xinya Group, Brazil’s WEG, and China Railway Beibuwan and brought in 29 high-tech companies, including Great International Wealth & Wisdom, Bitstrong Electronics and Free Space Net.
