The 2026 Nanyuan Chrysanthemum Show opened on Nov 1 in Taicang, featuring tens of thousands of chrysanthemums in 50 to 60 varieties across the historic garden.

Rather than being confined to designated flower beds, the chrysanthemums are woven into different corners of the garden, creating changing views as visitors explore the grounds.

Visitors can find flowers along winding paths, beside rockeries and ponds, around bridges and even aboard small boats on the water. Carefully crafted floral displays add to the garden's charm, blending vibrant blooms with its traditional Jiangnan-style architecture and landscape.

The flowers are expected to reach their best viewing period in about 10 days, offering visitors an even more colorful display in mid-November.
