Two business incubators in Taicang have been named provincial benchmark incubators, according to a list recently released by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology.

The Taicang Artificial Intelligence Enterprise Incubator, located in the city's University Student Entrepreneurship Park, brings together emerging technologies in intelligent equipment, machine vision and robotics.

It provides end-to-end support for turning research into commercial applications, covering technology development, product refinement, startup incubation and industrialization.

In recent years, it has helped foster 25 high-growth technology companies in the field of AI.

The Taicang Biomedicine Enterprise Incubator, based in the Taicang Biomedicine Industrial Park, serves companies working in emerging and future-oriented fields such as biomanufacturing, cell and gene technologies, and synthetic biology. It has supported 16 high-growth technology companies in the biomedicine sector.

The recognition highlights Taicang's efforts to build incubation platforms that help technology-driven startups grow and bring innovation to the market.
