An equestrian project at Taicang Quanjin Equestrian Club has broken ground, adding a major new facility to the city's growing horse-racing scene.
With a total investment of 150 million yuan ($22.36 million), the project will feature 200 stalls and an international-standard competition arena. It will also include a range of supporting facilities, including an equestrian-themed restaurant. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2028.
Taicang Quanjin Equestrian Club has hosted a number of major equestrian events and is home to a strong lineup of competition horses, including imported horses with proven pedigrees, experienced competition horses and European Warmbloods.
The club also has an experienced coaching team, with instructors who have competed in events at various levels and won championships in major competitions.
"We are confident that once the new project is completed, the club will become one of the most influential equestrian clubs in the Yangtze River Delta," said Zhu Chenling, head of the club.
