Taicang launched a range of promotional offers across scenic attractions, hotels, homestays, and dining venues to celebrate China Tourism Day on May 19, providing visitors with more opportunities to explore the city at discounted prices.

Shaxi Ancient Town offered half-price admission from May 19 to 26, while all cultural and creative products at Fortune Koi Garden were discounted by 20 percent.

Accommodation providers across the city also introduced special packages and promotions. Line Friends Camping Village offered rooms at a special price of 388 yuan ($57) per night.

At Jinmao Purelax Taicang Rose Manor, guests booking any room type receive complimentary afternoon tea. In contrast, reservations for Rose Private Hot Spring rooms included a 60-minute Thai essential oil spa treatment for two people. Guests staying in standalone villas receive a 60-minute Thai spa experience for four people. Additional discounts were also available, including 20 yuan off purchases of 300 yuan or more, 50 yuan off orders of 500 yuan or more and 150 yuan off spending of 1,000 yuan or more.

Hentique Hotel Taicang introduced a 15 percent discount on all room bookings. During the Jiangsu Football City League season, the hotel will also host an outdoor lawn crayfish buffet every Saturday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, featuring unlimited barbecue, crayfish and draft beer.

The city-wide campaign aims to enhance visitors' travel experiences while boosting local tourism and consumption during China Tourism Day celebrations.
