Shagang Group held a launch meeting for its industry AI large model project on Feb 7, embarking on a new journey to empower high-quality development in the steel industry with AI technology.
The Shagang AI large model will be jointly developed by Shagang and Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices. It is expected to be a high-performance intelligent model platform tailored for the steel industry.
The project aims to build a unified data governance and model application system to enhance production efficiency, reduce operational costs, upgrade product quality, and support scientific management decision-making in the company. This will unlock digital intelligence potential and solidify Shagang's core competitive advantages.
The Huawei team outlined the architecture and implementation plan for the large model, while the Shagang team introduced the integration plan, scenario target values, and arrangements, providing technical and implementation support for the project.
