The commencement ceremony for the Huashijie (Suzhou) Intelligent Manufacturing Base, with a total investment of 1.03 billion yuan ($148.97 million), was held in Zhangjiagang High-tech Zone (Tangqiao town) on Jan 28.
Huashijie is a leading enterprise in the field of volatile organic compound management, with its products widely used across various industries such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and automotive.
The project includes three production lines for standard integrated machines, adsorption and recovery integrated machines, and standard modular equipment, as well as global research and development, marketing, and product service centers.
Once the project reaches full production, it is expected to have an annual output value exceeding 1.1 billion yuan, attracting upstream and downstream supporting enterprises to form an industrial cluster effect.
Guo Chengzhan, president of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, said the launching of this base represents a new level of growth in China's independent assurance capabilities and international competitiveness in the high-end environmental protection equipment sector.
