The Zhangjiagang branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) collaborated with the city's Fenghuang town to hold a live stream event promoting local peaches on July 22. The live stream garnered an impressive viewership of 123,000 people.

One of the local farmers from Fenghuang town expressed his hopes that the event would enhance the sales of Fenghuang peaches.

Yu Xiaofan, general manager of the inclusive finance department of the ICBC Zhangjiagang branch, said the company has purchased the peaches of 11.13-hectare peach trees. They will be used to reward customers and donated for charity. The bank is committed to providing high-quality financial services to the peach farmers, Yu added.

In recent years, ICBC Zhangjiagang branch's financial services have extended to over 100 villages, with a cumulative financing of nearly 500 million yuan ($69.78 billion) for 59 villages in the first half of this year.
