A traditional culture and art exhibition recently opened at the Chengnan branch of the Zhangjiagang Culture Center, featuring a wide array of intangible cultural heritage items and traditional handicrafts, including Heyang Baojuan, a form of storytelling, Houcheng bamboo weaving, cotton-fluffing, and tiger-head shoes.
The exhibition, which includes over 30 intangible cultural heritage items such as folk literature and folk customs, will undergo periodic updates. According to Guan Jianing, a staff member at the culture center, the exhibition hall is equipped with touch screens and other interactive digital devices to improve the visitor experience.
