Jiangsu Shan'gang Ecological Agriculture Technology Co in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province recently made it to the 2022 list of national-level ecological farms released by the Rural Energy and Environment Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Chinese Society of Agro-ecological Environment Protection.

The company is a leading player in farming, marketing, and agricultural research and development, and currently has nine plantations for vegetables, fruits, rice and wheat crops.

The company has been using and promoting environmentally friendly technologies such as biodegradable plastic mulch and biological control of pests.

Digital technologies, including internet of things and big data, have also been adopted in the company's agricultural production. More than 200 pieces of digital equipment have been installed in its farms.

To keep itself informed of the latest agricultural technologies, the company has established long-term partnerships with several research institutes, including Nanjing Agricultural University and the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and employed agricultural experts as advisors.

The company has also developed a variety of activities to expand its presence in the tourism and culture industries.
