An exhibition organized by the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts and China Art Palace opened in Shanghai on Dec 16. The exhibition is a gathering of works from 24 exhibitions that were held across China over the past two years. An exhibition hosted by the Zhangjiagang Art Museum is among them.

Named Future Intangible Cultural Heritage: Contemporary Visual Art Exhibition, the Zhangjiagang Art Museum's exhibition focuses on intangible cultural heritage in the Yangtze River basin. It features three large pieces of artworks and their creation process is presented on display boards.

The exhibition opened to the public during the 2021 Yangtze River Culture Festival, an annual event held in Zhangjiagang, for the first time.

The Zhangjiagang Art Museum has held many art activities in local schools and communities to improve the public's knowledge about art.
