A signing ceremony for an intelligent production base of Stressless, a brand owned by Qumei Home Furnishings Group, was held in Zhangjiagang, a county-level city in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province on Aug 31.

The production base, which will be located in Nanfeng town, comprises an assembly plant and a production plant.

Zhao Ruihai, president of the company, said Zhangjiagang is the perfect place to build the production base as the city has a good transportation network and complete supply chains. The new plants are expected to accelerate production, he added.

Han Wei, Party chief of Zhangjiagang, said the city government will provide efficient services to the company so that the production base can be built and put into use as soon as possible.

Qumei Home Furnishings Group was established in 1993 and specializes in the design, manufacture, and marketing of home furniture.
