Zhangjiagang, a county-level city in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, unveiled an exhibition hall themed on smart education on June 10.

The 200-square-meter exhibition features a variety of products and solutions, such as teaching software and smart blackboards, which are developed by 15 leading tech companies including Lenovo and iFlytek. The intelligent products are expected to help teachers conduct classes more efficiently and help students become more interested in learning.

Exhibits at the hall also include smart cameras that can identify human faces and their attire and warn of potential dangers.

The exhibition hall will help schools in the city learn about latest technologies and implement smart education.

Zhangjiagang has been making efforts to promote smart education in recent years. It is presently building smart classrooms, artificial intelligence laboratories and other facilities to improve its education infrastructure.

Seventy schools in the city have become provincial-level smart schools. Around 130,000 teachers and students in Zhangjiagang took online classes during the local COVID-19 outbreak.
