Liangfeng Senior Middle School in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province has been cooperating with universities to explore new patterns of education.

For example, the middle school has worked with the School of Chinese Language and Literature of Nanjing Normal University to roll out a program featuring a series of lectures conducted by the university's professors to help the middle school students better understand Chinese literary classics and improve their writing skills.

In December 2021, the middle school and Nanjing University signed an agreement which allows masters and doctors of education from the Tao Xingzhi Teacher Education School of the college to do an internship and research at the middle school, while teachers at the Zhangjiagang school can receive training at the university.

The program will help train more professional and creative teachers, said Zhang Xinyu, vice-principal of Liangfeng Senior Middle School.

The school has also cooperated with other institutes, including Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai Tech University, and Nanjing Forestry University to build laboratories and offer career planning to students.
