The Zhangjiagang Art Museum in Zhangjiagang, a county-level city in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province will hold a month-long Chinese painting exhibition starting on March 15.

Organized by the Suzhou Chinese Painting Institute and the Zhangjiagang bureau of culture, sport, radio, television and tourism, the exhibition will feature 100 works by 21 artists from the institute.

The paintings are themed around the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the local culture in regions on the southern bank of the lower Yangtze River. The 21 artists include some veterans like Han Shan and Sun Junliang and a number of young artists such as Feng Hao, Tan Yiwen, and Yao Xinfeng.
