Various kinds of spring flowers are expected to blossom in the coming few months in Zhangjiagang, a county-level city in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province.

From late February, tens of thousands of plum trees of different species in Xiangshan Mountain, which is one of the largest places to admire plum flowers in southern Jiangsu, will begin to bloom.

In late March when plum flowers fade out of sight, visitors can then enjoy cherry blossoms at Xiangshan Mountain, peach blossoms at Fenghuang town, begonias at Shuangshan Island, rape flowers at Changyinsha Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park, and tulips at Changjiang village.

Near the end of April, just before summer arrives, peonies around the Jiyang Lake in Zhangjiagang will bloom. Their pink, white and red flowers are expected to adorn the scenery of the lake.
