The opening ceremony of the China Railway Rolling Stock Corp (CRRC) Hydrogen Power Industrial Park was held in Zhangjiagang Bonded Zone in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province on Jan 16.
The park has five buildings for research and development, testing as well as other uses, and a hydrogen fueling station with a capacity of 500 kilograms per day. It can produce 100 megawatts of electricity piles annually and is expected to generate 300 megawatts after being expanded. The park can also carry out pre-production and other tests for fuel cells.
In the future, the CRRC will help accelerate the development of hydrogen power industry chains and explore more application scenarios for hydrogen power in railway transportation.
The industrial park is also expected to boost the innovative development of the new energy industry in Zhangjiagang Bonded Zone.
