Donggang village in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province was recently included on a list of Suzhou's top 10 demonstration villages with beautiful vegetable gardens, local media outlets reported on Jan 12.

Nanfeng town, where the village is located, has been making efforts to beautify the vegetable gardens of local residents since last July. The beautification project has so far covered more than 401 hectares of land in 11 villages.
