The digital resource library of Yangtze River cultural tourism will be established in Zhangjiagang, East China's Jiangsu province, local media reported on Dec 8.

The library is expected to promote the digital development of culture and tourism in the Yangtze River Basin and expand the influence of its achievements.

The digital resource library will include all kinds of national and local digital art resources, especially pictures, videos, audio and documents related to the development of art creation, art performances, art products and services since the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Since 2004, Zhangjiagang has held the China (Zhangjiagang) Yangtze River Culture and Art Festival every year to offer a display platform for the protection of cultural relics, the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, and art performances in the Yangtze River Delta.
