Jiangsu Shagang Group, a Global Fortune 500 company in the county-level city of Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, was included on the Jiangsu Top 100 Innovative Enterprises list.

Shagang Group has made continuous progress, moving up from 15th last year to ninth this year, and it is the fifth time that the company has made the list since it was first released in 2016.

Over the past years, Shagang Group has adhered to innovation-driven development, promoted scientific and technological innovation, and increased investment in technological transformation. A large number of products independently developed by the group have been used in many cities and regions nationwide.

The group has also formed a science and technology association to bolster its innovation-driven development.

The list mainly measures enterprises' innovation input and output and evaluates the innovation and development of enterprises. The top 100 companies have four common characteristics: strong independent innovation capabilities, good economic benefits, high industry influence and robust innovation management.
