The 2021 Cross-Strait (Zhangjiagang) Agricultural Fair is set to be held in Zhangjiagang, East China's Jiangsu province from Nov 5 to 7, according to the organizing committee.

Agricultural enterprises from Taiwan and Zhangjiagang as well as surrounding counties and cities will be invited to participate in the agricultural fair where more than 1,000 kinds of agricultural products will be on display.

The agricultural fair will be divided into a main exhibition area and a service area.

The main exhibition area will have 240 booths for participants from Zhangjiagang, Taiwan and surrounding areas, as well as for delicacies. The service area will be used for live broadcasting, consultation, and financial services promotion.

In recent years, Zhangjiagang has ramped up efforts to develop its agriculture industry and support leading agricultural products processing enterprises.

By hosting the agricultural fair, the city will exchange experiences in agricultural development with participants from other places, promote local agricultural products and facilitate the upgrading of its agricultural industry, said a staff member of the fair's organizing committee.
