Zhangjiagang, a county-level city in Suzhou, Jiangsu province will host the 2021 China (Zhangjiagang) Yangtze River Culture and Art Festival from Oct 25 to Nov 10, according to a news conference held in the city on Oct 11.

Sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Suzhou government, the festival will be attended by participants from 13 provinces in the Yangtze River Delta.

This year's event will host nine activities featuring a selection of the region's intangible cultural heritage, cultural relics, ideas for integrating culture and tourism, and traditional opera.

Academics and business representatives will be invited to make suggestions on the integrated development of culture and tourism in the Yangtze River Delta, digital culture and tourism, and the nighttime economy.
