Volunteers in Zhangjiagang have a busy National Day holiday

A total of 14,076 volunteers in Zhangjiagang, East China's Jiangsu province took part in 1,538 activities during the seven-day National Day holiday.
They helped citizens take photos with the national flag and organized a flag-painting activity for children.

Volunteers organized games to help citizens develop good garbage sorting habits and distributed pamphlets to improve their awareness of garbage sorting.

At Zhangjiagang Poly Grand Theatre, a child from a local young volunteer group played piano to entertain attendees waiting for theatrical performances.
Volunteers in the city also organized other activities, including charity sales, anti-fraud education activities, and blood pressure measurement services for senior citizens.
One of the volunteers Xu Jing said, "It was really meaningful to be part of these activities and I think that I had a great holiday."
