Zhangjiagang, East China's Jiangsu province, recently launched a program to improve the living conditions of stay-at-home children aged 6 to 16 and other children in need.

A pair of cousins aged 10 and 9 who were raised by their grandparents and live in poverty are among the beneficiaries, After learning about their conditions, local authorities helped design and renovate their house, making it more comfortable to live in.
