Fuxing featured village, a pilot project located within Zhongshan village in Daxin Town, Zhangjiagang, East China's Jiangsu province, received inspection and acceptance from local authorities on Sept 14.

Spanning 44.86 hectares, Fuxing featured village is expected to be constructed into a location that offers agricultural sightseeing, folk culture and rural vacation sites.

Zhongshan village has changed the traditional family business model into one that combines enterprises, industrial bases, cooperatives and farmers, and supports the development of local agricultural companies.

The village has retained the original rural planning, created a scenic belt featuring homestays and sightseeing area for paddy fields, and built an agricultural theme park.

Twelve volunteer teams have been organized in the village to help foster good folk customs. The village has also promoted the development of traditional skills and the inheritance of traditional culture.
