A raft of new residential apartments in Zhangjiagang – a county-level city administered by Suzhou in East China's Jiangsu province – recently started operating or reportedly began construction. The condos were developed by the local government and bought by enterprises, in order to help recruit young professionals.

Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone Talent Apartments

Located on the south side of Zhongxing South Road and on the east side of Xinggang Road, the apartment block has a total construction area of about 30,000 square meters, with 303 apartments. At present, the decoration work has mostly been completed and it is expected to be opened for use by the end of 2021.

Fuqian Talent Apartments Phase II

Located in the east of Gangcheng Avenue and to the north of Fuxin Road, the apartment block has a total construction area of about 46,500 sq m, with 952 apartments. The project was officially opened for use in June 2021.

Zhonggang Garden Talent Apartments

Located at the intersection of Nanhuan Road and Gangcheng Avenue, the planned apartment complex will have a total construction area of 12,700 sq m, with 128 apartments. The project will start construction in late 2021 and it is expected to be opened for use by the end of 2023.

Shazhou New City Talent Apartments Phase II

Located in the east of Jinfeng town, the apartment complex has a total construction area of 4,388 sq m, with 56 apartments. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2021 and open for use in June 2022.
