A traditional winter fishing festival was held in the county-level city of Zhangjiagang, East China's Jiangsu province on Feb 4 to celebrate the annual Little New Year.

Little New Year (Chinese: Xiaonian) usually takes place a week before the Lunar New Year, falling on Feb 4 this year. It is also known as the Festival of the Kitchen God, the deity who oversees the moral character of each household.
