The Zhangjiagang-based Jiangsu Feymer Technology Company went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's sci-tech innovation board, commonly known as the STAR Market, on Jan 29, increasing the city's total number of listed companies to 24.
The company, located in Fenghuang town, Zhangjiagang, is a high-tech enterprise in possession of core technologies for hydrophilic functional polymer products. It mainly serves water-related industries such as water treatment, pulp and paper making, mining, textiles, dyeing, oil and gas extraction, and more.
The company is dedicated to innovation-driven development and has independently developed a set of key technologies and accelerated its industrialization process for innovative technologies and products. Statistics show that as of the end of December 2020, Feymer had collectively acquired 29 invention patents and 60 patents for utility models.
Pan Guoqiang, Party secretary of Zhangjianggang, said that Feymer is the city's second company to be listed on the STAR Market.
He added that innovation is the primary driving force behind development, and that Zhangjiagang has improved its scientific and technological innovation capabilities over the past few years.
The city plans to seize upon major national opportunities and accelerate its integration with the Yangtze River Delta. Efforts will also be made to speed up innovative development and improve its business environment in an effort to build a dynamic and modern economic system, according to Pan.
