Zhangjiagang signs cooperative agreement with KPMG at 3rd CIIE

The port city of Zhangjiagang in East China's Jiangsu province signed a strategic cooperative agreement with global professional service provider KPMG at the third China International Import Expo (CIIE), which was held in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10.
According to the agreement, KPMG will offer professional services to Zhangjiagang in attracting investment, and speeding up industrial and innovative development, to strengthen industrial and value chains.
At the signing ceremony, a guidebook on Zhangjagang's industrial development written by KPMG was released, showcasing the city's aims to become an investment hotspot for global investors.
There were 381 enterprises from Zhangjiagang taking part in this year's CIIE, covering sectors such as manufacturing, commerce circulation, biomedical and healthcare, energy conservation and environment protection, with expected purchasing contracts worth $210 million.
