Zhangjiagang prepares for upcoming Yangtze River Culture and Art Festival

Preparations are underway for the annual China (Zhangjiagang) Yangtze River Culture and Art Festival, which is scheduled to be held in the county-level city of Zhangjiagang in East China's Jiangsu province on Oct 31.
This year's festival, with a focus on "promoting Yangtze River culture and pursuing common prosperity," will highlight the city's high-quality development.
Han Wei, deputy Party secretary of the city, said that the festival will highlight cultural elements of the Yangtze River and enhance business and trade cooperation among enterprises in an effort to take full economic advantage of the city's strategic location and abundant resources.
Local authorities said that this year's event will consist of 12 cultural activities showcasing Zhangjiagang's culture, while an array of business and trade activities will also be held during the event, including a promotion activity for hydrogen energy and meetings related to intelligent manufacturing.
