The county-level city of Zhangjiagang in East China's Jiangsu province held a night festival to boost the city's night economy from Aug 21 to 23, according to a local media report.

A number of shopping malls and landmark commercial complexes participated in the festival, extending their business hours and hosting activities like night tours, live shows and promotions for shopping and dining. 

Handicrafts such as dresses made of handwoven cloth, exquisite porcelain, calligraphy and paintings were on display during the festival.
