Local authorities have said that this year the village will build four irrigation and drainage pumping stations, improve rural land, and increase scientific and technological services for agriculture.

"High-yield farmland will lead to a boost in agricultural mechanization, resulting in an increase in agricultural production. Upgraded agricultural infrastructure is helping drain water from my farmland during this year's heavy rains," said Ren Rixin, a professional farmer currently contracting 270 mu of farmland in Liming village.

Xu Ping, Party secretary of the village, said that the village has been developing high-yield farmland since 2015, and a total of 1,300 mu of high-yield farmland has been developed so far, greatly increasing grain production capacity and increasing optimism among farmers.
