The Zhangjiagang Tencent Cloud Industrial Center started operating on June 29 and signed agreement with 52 Zhangjiagang enterprises to promote the development of intelligent manufacturing, according to a news conference.
Tencent Cloud, developed by Chinese tech giant Tencent, will also offer consultation services to more than 10 enterprises in Zhangjiagang interested in intelligent manufacturing.
The Zhangjiagang government and Tencent Technology signed a framework agreement for the construction of the Zhangjiagang Tencent Cloud Industrial Center in 2019, aiming to help enterprises upgrade and develop intelligent robot workshops, as well as help the city establish new clusters for intelligent industries.
Local authorities have said that the cloud center will help the city establish an industrial cloud, an intelligent industrial ecosystem, and an artificial intelligence innovation center. It will also accelerate the city's industrial transformation and upgrading and transform Zhangjiagang into a model for the digital economy of the Yangtze River Delta region.
Liang Ding'an, manager of Tencent Cloud Intelligent Manufacturing, said that Tencent will explore innovative development models that integrate intelligent manufacturing, industrial internet, talent training, innovation, and incubation in order to accelerate Zhangjiagang's industrial transformation and upgrading.
