To date, the city's supply chain public service platform and e-port smart logistics supply chain platform been evaluated as Suzhou's pilot projects of supply chain system construction.

A total of 37 transnational corporations in the area have formed industrial clusters covering the fields of organic silicon, lithium batteries, catalysts, high-performance materials and coatings.

The hazardous chemical transportation service center with an investment of 395 million yuan ($57.24 million) was under construction which will set up China's first hazardous chemical parking standards to realize the whole track and supervision of hazardous chemical transport vehicles and protect modern supply chain.

The bonded area has built a complete smart logistics supply chain platform where users can track ship's positions through an electronic map at the monitoring room. At present, the platform can monitor 180,000 ships.

Furthermore, Zhangjiagang Bonded Area also paid much attention to industrial upgrading and accelerated platform clustering. Now it has gathered a batch of information platform to promote data exchanges and create a Bulk transaction supermarket for bulk transactions.
