The Yonglian Countryside Gourmet Festival was held at Suzhou Jiangnan Agricultural Cultural Park, Zhangjiagang, East China's Jiangsu province on April 6, offering visitors a chance to enjoy local delicacies.

A crowd of tourists from Shanghai, Wuxi and Suzhou in Jiangsu province poured into the park on the first day of the Qingming Festival holiday.

Qingming Festival is an important occasion for Chinese people to honor their ancestors. Many also spent the three-day holiday on leisure travel.

In addition to enjoying the delicious local snacks, visitors had the chance to take part in interesting activities such as kite-flying, light shows and dance performances.

The gourmet festival will last till May 6.
