Zhangjiagang boasts  rich tourist resources and is an attractive Chinese city. It is home to the provincial tourist resort -Shuangshan Island Tourist Resort, four Grade AAAA tourist attractions (Phoenix Mountain, Xiangshan Mountain, Yonglian Town and Jiyang Lake Ecological Tourist Attraction), three Grade AAA tourist attractions (Dongdu Garden, Changyinsha Eco-tourism Area and Liangfeng Ecological Park). Yonglian Town is one of Jiangsu's first five-star village tourist attraction. Zhangjiagang has eight four-star tourist attractions and five three-star tourist attractions.

For many years Zhangjiagang has implemented  all-for-one tourism strategy, which coordinates urban and rural resources, fueling vitality as a market player in promoting tourism and building the "Living Zhangjiagang" tourist brand in a coordinated way.
