A grand temple fair was held at Yangshe town, Zhangjiagang in Jiangsu province on Jan 31 to welcome the upcoming Chinese lunar New Year where red lanterns and flags were hung high and people cheered in the festive atmosphere.

On the early morning, local residents and volunteers were busy decorating and settling different areas for selling paper-cutting, reading promotion, safe education, and policy consultation.

Volunteers on the site introduced social security, civil affairs and other policies and gave out safety propagandistic handbooks to the residents.

The temple fair in Chengyang community in Yangshe town enriches cultural life of local residents and bridges an exchange platform for them to deepen neighborhood relations.
