German Youyi Company, a global leader in special cable for robots, is planning to build a robotic cable base in Zhangjiagang.

The German Youyi Company is a subsidiary of TKH Group, which is an international holding company mainly producing ultra-micro medical cable, marine application cable, and special industrial robot cable. It also makes tire equipment and provides solar systems and infrastructure solutions.

The construction of a world leading special cable production base will require two stages: a total of 17.5 million euros will be invested to produce high-end robot cable and more investment will be used for new cable fields like medicine and communication.

Huang Ji, mayor of Zhangjiagang city and Drange, CEO of TKH Group, attended the signing ceremony on Jan 24.

Huang stated that traditional industrial transformation and upgrading have a higher demand for informatization and intellectualization and the government will offer as much support as possible to promote the base and to ensure it is first-class by world standards.
