Zhangjiagang has the third strongest economy of any county-level city in China, according to a new report published by the Beijing-based consulting firm Urtrust Think Tank.

The report listed the top 50 county-level cities in the country in terms of economic strength. The cities ranked based on scores given in three areas: GDP, level of urbanization and economic potential.

Jiangsu province performed very well in the report. Ten of the 50 county-level cities on the list were in Jiangsu, with Kunshan, Jiangyin and Zhangjiagang taking the top three slots.
