Many works made by heirs of national intangible cultural heritages are also on display here, including a ceiling shaped like the Yangtze River, an underground crystal palace and forest, and a crystal music ship.
Wide images, phantom imaging, a multimedia touch screen, and sculpture and waxen images all help create a better experience.
Liu Jinsheng, deputy director of the Jiangsu Administration of Cultural Heritage, said the museum is an important base to display, protect, inherit and research Yangtze River culture.
