What does it look like?
Located to the south of Lihu Lake, Wuxi Grand Theatre spans about 78,000 square meters and is approximately 50 meters tall. From above, eight elegant "wings" surround the entire structure, creating a sense of liveliness and speed, resembling a butterfly softly landing by the city's lakeside. The building looks stunning during the day and dazzling at night.
What does it offer?
The opera hall's sound reflection panel has a unique design resembling a Peking Opera mask, symbolizing Chinese culture. It is also fitted with a lighting system from renowned international brands and a digital sound system, capable of supporting a wide range of world-class performances, including opera, dance drama, symphony, theater, Chinese traditional opera, and acrobatics.
The small theatre is versatile, featuring telescopic seating and a lift stage to accommodate chamber music, experimental drama, meetings, fashion shows, and diverse art competitions.
